How to make Easy Gingerbread Recipe

Ingredients:

225 gram of soft or room temporature butter
300 gram of sugar
1 1/2 tablespoon orange zest
2 tablespoons  molasses
375 gram all purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
2 teaspoons cinamon powder
1 teaspoons ginger powder
1/2 teaspoon cloves powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 egg

Making Gingerbread Direction:

1. Mix butter and sugar until creamy. Add the egg and beat well. Mix the orange zest and syrup mixture. Add the flour, baking soda, cinnamon, ginger, cloves and salt and mix well. Put the dough in the refrigerator at least 2 hours, or leave it overnight.
2. Pre-heat oven to 175 C or Gas oven at 5. Grease baking trays. Roll the dough on a lightly floured surface to a thickness of 0.5 cm. Cut into the shape you want with cookie cutters. Place the cookies 2 to 3 cm apart from each other on the baking sheets.
3. Bake the dough 10 to 12 minutes, until the cookies firm and slightly toasted on the edges. It will look nice brown color.
4. Leave gingerbread to cool down.
5. Decorate your gingerbread with icing as your design.
